Where to begin writing. Some say it comes with a spark, some say it comes with a bang. Some words gestate for nine months or more.
It doesn’t matter where or when it comes, be prepared to start at that moment. Carry a notebook, pen, pencil, post it note; jot down ideas when they strike. Have a pad by the bed… sometimes all you need is a word, an image to recreate what you get in the middle of the night.
